    Credit Card Usage Update

If your competition doesn't have C.C. and you don't feel your customers would like to have the convenience of having multiple options to pay for your services then don't put C.C. at your wash. Just hope that your competition doesn't decide to put in C.C. before you. I've had C.C. since 2001 and...

Operator in the Midwest (specifically Detroit Market) looking for assistance.

I would remind them that in 2011 we were in the midst of the worst recession in years. In 2014 we are supposedly starting to recover.

    Poor drying results in tunnel

At any stage in the wash process do you use your reject water from your spot free to rinse the car? If so try turning it off. The TDS in the reject water might be the problem.

Robert again I'm not sure I understand your methodology but you got me thinking. Because my ss customers have the ability to use quarters, bills and credit cards in my bays they have less of a reason to go to my changer thereby not passing my venders so... I'm going to install electric 5...

    Counting Quarters, how?

Never got a real answer. The best the manager of the bank came up with is some sort of "activity" in the accounts. Fees ranged from .16 to $6-7 per month per account. I told him it should be called "anal - yst" fee. This same bank would call me from time to time and ask if I could make a...

    Counting Quarters, how?

Randy I had the same problem several years ago with my bank. Since they said the charge was per bag ($1.85 per bag) I asked them if it matter if I used the larger bags. They said corporate said it was per bag no matter of size. So I got some bags that were 2 feet tall and filled them up with...

Credit card???? To add or not to add.

I would raise your prices, add Bonus Time to each bay that gives the customer more FREE time if they deposit a certain amount of money (such as $5.00 receive 5 FREE additional minutes). I would add the credit cards to the bays because it shows that you are improving the wash. Give a boat load...

What type of material do you use? Why?

Just got back from the show. Concern on both Lambscloth and microfiber are the ends (on the car) of both are sewn with a stiff thread. Has anyone had problems of scratching? Also did anyone see or have used Motorcity's new mitter material? I'm not sure what's it called but it was soft but...
