I've never used Microcoin but the guys I know who have them have almost zero trouble with them. Slugbusters have been decently reliable, but I don't like that I have to pay extra for the SB III just to NOT take dollar coins (SB II will take them and give credit for a quarter). I used to have...

    Cyptopay Confusion

I don't know what the communication is called, but the Cryptopay is able to "talk" to the timer. No, you can't do money spent on the LED7. The LED6 is shorter and a little bit wider than the LED7, I think the LED6 is only 1/4" wider.

    Two electrical issues

Does it have an AT-411E timer? If so, make sure the wires to the coin switch are connected to COM and NO, not COM and NC. It is a design feature of that timer to cancel the time if the coin circuit is held closed.

    Cyptopay Confusion

When running count-up with Cryptopay, you won't deal with any pulses. The start time and time per minute is all set in Cryptopay's system, which tells the timer display what to read. The timer doesn't do anything except turn on and display time used (LED7) or money spent (LED6).

    IDK MA-800

I'm running Slugbuster IIs and III's and have no trouble dialing out tokens that are the same metal content but are slightly different in size.

    Coin vault doors

I think you need more than doors. You might consider replacing the box and add a more secure vault, or a coin vacuum system.

If you have the instructions, try the procedure of programming a coin you do NOT want to take. If it still takes their coin, you may be SOL. Does it take theirs at the same value as your token?

    Pulsatron pumps

The only real difference between the ones Belanger uses and what Kleen-Rite sells is the power connector. Belanger uses a "proprietary" setup so you can't simply swap in a new pump and plug it in unless you get one from Belanger. Just get the right feed rate pump, and you can add the plug...

Manifolds above bays or in Equipment room

You can, but neither you nor your customers will like the long changeover time. FWIW, I had at another wash used a programmable relay to blow out the high pressure line from the boom to the gun after an idle period, and that really helped speed the low pressure to the gun, from 16 seconds or so...

Looking to build a conveyor tunnel wash with a water reclaim.

Have you visited any washes using reclaim? Have you found any info as to the well water quality and how much you can draw from it a day?

    CAT 5CP2120 head

That sucks, it wasn't all that long ago I talked to someone. I guess they're gone. Their site is also not showing up, and Google shows them as permanently closed. I didn't think to check that before I recommended them.

    Ryko Signature Series S.S Faceplate

The ones that are the same color are numbered, and are for the various functions. All it takes is a volt meter to see which ones get power on which function. Purple is 24V main, green is 24V common. About a minute of work for the rest and you have your diagram.

    Anybody using Slot Drains?

What was his reaction? I stayed late at work once and did something similar on my own time, just because I felt like doing it. All I got was "I don't want you in here by yourself anymore." I've worked for some shitty people, glad I don't have to anymore.

    Anybody using Slot Drains?

Cake is very difficult to clean up. After it's been smashed into the concrete by traffic and it's dried, you have to pull out a shovel to scrape it off, then you're still left with a greasy looking stain. I haven't dealt with the trench-type thing in a car wash, but I've watched owners do it...

    Ryko Signature Series S.S Faceplate

Wiring is easy with a diagram, or once you understand it.

    Anybody using Slot Drains?

I've seen a lot of older washes that have a trench all the way through with a grate over it. It's wide enough for a shovel - the downside is you'd have to pick up all the mud by hand, maybe once a week or more, but no pumping pits.

Lock options for JC Vac Doors?

There are puck-style locks that accept Medeco plug locks as well, the main benefit of which is that you can unlock them and remove the key, then press the lock cylinder back in to lock them without the key. You'd probably have to take them to a machine shop to do it since most are hardened...

    GinSan Sensortron coin acceptor issue

That's been my biggest problem with those too. Unfortunately every make of acceptor has some issue like that. All my Slugbuster II's are zip-tied shut.

Lock options for JC Vac Doors?

Kind of a hack job, but it ought to work.

    D & S vacuum

The vac timer needs to output voltage to energize the mercury relay. You'll have to check for voltage out from timer. Go back to the chain of voltage checks I listed earlier. Your logic of "If the vac timer doesn’t energize can it be mercury relay?" is like wondering if a light bulb is burned...
