I have used Rubbermaid Gluttons for 25 years at 3 washes and have tried other various smaller cans. I always end up back with Gluttons. Collecting Trash seems to go with having Vacuums. My trash pickup of a 4-yard dumpster once a week cost $450 a month.

I have 701's , Jeeps with tires and trailer itches are ok. I have a retract button for each set of Wraps and another for the Top brushes. Bike Racks are not washed. The loader is critical to avoid claims and please the customer.

How do I increase the open time delay on the exit door. It will close the door while the customer is still sitting in the wash position, before he exits.

The only defense against Express washes is Full Service or Flex. They are rough to run but that's the price of survival.

I converted from full service to flex express over 10 years ago. Today I have a chain Express wash 1/2 mile away, and our volume is down. Full service is a model that has an argument that works against the new Express washes. However, full serves are not fun or easy to run.

I extended a 28-foot bay 4 feet to 32 feet to install a 5 brush rollover. My town required me to get a site plan to extend the bay but it was worth it. Only regrets are that I should have extended 6 feet and gone to 34 feet in length.

28 feet length should work with many Touch Free machines, but is short even for them. I don't think any friction units will work. 32 feet seems to be a minimum, with 34 feet much better for friction.

Can a self service with a touch free In bay compete ? Does adding a second Friction Automatic help?
