No. It will work with a regular phone line. That is what I use.

    Glass Building for IBA

Everyone I have seen looks like crap after just a few years. I have not seen one that has been properly maintained, and still looks good. Just my observation of glass buildings.

    Reverse Osmosis Coupler

I used to have that one, too, as I have the PRO-SFR. Just switch it to the lovejoy that Kleen-Rite carries. Part # PPC3045; $20.45. It is an exact fit. I keep an extra on the shelf; as it so important to have SF production. Plus lovejoy spyders are readily available at a lot of supply houses.

    Standard Response

Agree with Robert2181. Once they say lawyer, you want to end it totally at that point. I always say "have your lawyer call me, and I will explain it real slow to him/her". Then I walk away. Never been to court....yet. (I am amazed at how many people have a lawyer on standby, too.)

    Boom Tilt Problem-2.0

It may be too late for you now, but we add a little air tool oil to our lines when the tilt function starts to hesitate. This cures it up for another few thousand washes. This keeps everything lubricated internally (I think).

    Spot Free After Wax

I have two LW4000s. I put spot free on right after medium pressure sealant application. SF is at 150 psi. Applying right after sealant helps the SF bead off the vehicle; thus helping with the drying process. And the drying needs all the help it can get, because the two 10 hp producers are...

    Kleen Rite How Could You?

I have to disagree with the naysayers. I have been with KR since 1994 and one location. Now with five locations, I order 98% of my car wash parts and supplies from them. I always call in to a cs rep because it is faster than doing it online. Product shipping is generally very fast. And when...

for those people who are complaining about income, HAPPY NEW YEAR

Avg. time per car is 15 minutes Spring to Fall. Cold Winter days 8-10 minutes. Decent day after snowfall about 18-21 minutes. Yes, ofcourse expenses have gone up. When I started, my chemical cost per car was 48 cents. It is now 69 cents. It is about the experience to me. A customer can...

for those people who are complaining about income, HAPPY NEW YEAR

Here is a wrinkle-- I have been the same start price for 10 years. That is $5.00 for up to 30 minutes bay time. Price is per car--double magnetic floor loops installed. 2014 was best year gross and net at my five washes.

    Year In Review

Best year ever (Since first unit opened in 1994). In Lower Delaware and just across the line into Maryland; 5 locations. The Winter rocked, and has kept the momentum the entire year.

New LED lights in the parking lot

Agree with you on the light throw. I just replaced a total of (12) 400 watt MH lights with the 144 watt cool whites. The light is more intense at the 40 degree pattern, but less on the fringes. I think it has to do with all the new lighting regulations in regards to light pollution. The...

    Little trees

Same as BBE said. We dispense $1 tokens only, so everything is in dollar increments. Trees and the little AA packs are the only items that are $1, though. All other items are $2 or $3. Even with shipping, trees are less than 50 cents a unit. So a 50+ cent profit is good for no work, other...

    Carwash sales pitch

In today's deal, deal, deal world, I think a buck is not sufficient to get any response. A dollar would not motivate me to do anything; unless it was $1 off every gallon of gas on a fill up. People are used to 20, 30, even 50% off. That is what motivates a purchase across many industries.

    VFC Drives

I replaced all three of my drives on a WW 1.0 with the Danfoss 132F0010. Yes, it is a bit tighter in the box, but I had no issues programming them. They have been flawless for over 2 years now. They were only $212 with the programmer. That was cheap enough for me to put a spare on the shelf.

fixing in-floor heat instead of replacing the whole floor.

I added it in the expansion tank. At the moment, I do not recall if it is before the pump or after. But is should not affect it on either side. The product goes to where the leak(s) is/are. Yes, I ran it for 48+ hours, then off. I just poured in a little more than the recommended amount for...

    TSYS Prepaid Visa Card Scam

No, but I had it happen with Anovia for $100 gift card. I have TSYS, and am very happy with them. I am surprised by them not responding to you.

fixing in-floor heat instead of replacing the whole floor.

Yes, it worked for me. I used it in two separate systems. I had slow leaks in each. Just follow the instructions, and be sure to let it circulate for at least 48 hours. (with no heat, of course) I do not know how, but the leaks have stopped altogether.

laser 4000 arch turns too early

Since it is always the first pass, is it possible your passenger side ultrasonic is not measuring properly? Or it needs a re-calibration? This would make it turn early. If your count and right limit are definitely working, isn't the ultrasonic measurment the only thing that would tell it that...
