I need to to drill out a lock

I will take a pm on that issue as well, please. I have a medco lock on a vacuum vault clean out box that someone tried to chizel into. I have not done anything with it, but I know one day I will need to get into it if a motor fails. I actually wish the guy had gotten into it. That would have...

    dryer staging

MEP-boy my spelling sucked on that last post. I just went to the Moeller website. It looks like I need software, and connections to the plc to make any changes. That is not worth the hassel. I will just get two inline delay relays from McMaster-Carr for $26 each. That is the easy way to go...

    dryer staging

MEP, I finally got that plc mopdel #. It is a Moeller EASY 619-AC-RC. I have no instruction with it, but playing with it I can only find one settable parameter. That is the total drying time. I know thaere has got to be a way to set the delay between starts somewhere. Any help is appreciated.

    Man door for IBA

I did put a lockable door on. It opens fine from inside when locked from the outside. I do not think you could paint them. My are next to white split face block, so they look OK. And yes, they are expensive. On the lock, I may take those off this year, because when it gets really cold it...

    Man door for IBA

I have three Extrutech doors installed. They are for emergency exits in my ibas. No problems. Ofcourse if someone really wants to get in, they will.

    Security Cameras

I have 3 of their systems. So far, they are the best I have seen. Jen at customer service is tops; she is super knowledgable. She responds to all calls quicky, and does mind that occassionally silly question that I should have already known the answer to. They walk you through the internet...

    Entire carwash looses prime

All mine are 1.25 or 1.5 inches for 5 bays or less. I have a 9-bay that has a 2 inch feed. On that one the two inch runs by each pump, then it is t'd with a 3/4" feed to the pump. I am quite sure if all 7 bays are sucking from that 1/2" line, you are starving the pumps. I can not believe...

    dryer staging

I knew someone would ask me that. I forgot to get that info. I will get it on Monday. Right now the only parameter that is in there is the total time. As Bill suggested, I can just get two inline relays for the 2nd and third dryer. They are only $28 from McMaster-Carr, and are easily placed...

    dryer staging

Does anyone know how to increase the delay on the dryer start up with a water wizard 1.0. The wizard panel sends a signal out to the dryer start panel, which is controlled by a plc. I see how to set the total drying time on the plc, but not the staging. There are no instructions in my manual...

How much more rain can we stand?????

I have one wash that is flooded. Standing water in 5 bays. There is 3 feet of water at two vac stations. Barracades on both roads servicing of the wash. No way in; ofcourse there is no need. Good news--we now do not have to go down in the storm ditch to retrieve all that trash. It came...

    Money Back on Utility Bills??

I used a company called "audi-bill" one time when I owned a fast food restaurant. Same deal, they check your bills to see if they could save you money. I signed up. The deal was they get 50% of any instant savings, and 50% of the next five years savings. Turns out I was on the wrong electric...

    Phone Auto Dialer

I have three from Radio Shack. They used to be $49.99. They stopped carrying them about 4 years ago because of frequent failures a salesperson told me. I have had no trouble with mine. Etowah Valley carries one for about $325 I think. I believe it has 6 or 8 alarm signals for you to use...

    Camera direction?

I have a 13 bay with 25 cameras. I still can not see everything. You have to decide what you want and/or need to see. If you have only a few cameras, then use wide angle lenses so you get a good overall picture of what is going on. If you have more cameras, you can pick and choose what areas...

    25 hp motor soft start???

Actually, I thought is was a $hitpot full of money at the time. My issue was adding a second iba to a 5/1 with 400 amp service. Everyone told me I needed 600 amp for a 4/2 plus 12 vacs plus vac-it-up system. Cost to upgrade--$35,000. Cost for soft starts for both autos- $10,000. The...

    Dixmore weepmizer with Methanol changeover

I am in lower Delaware. No real issues jumping between temps. The Dixmor sensors are reliable and do not seem to change on a quick possible up and down. Just use two sensors, so that one is always in the coldest side of your building. Remember, you have a 1 degree delay from your set point...

    25 hp motor soft start???

WOW!! I did not think any power provider would give a commercial entity a flat rate because of the spikes. You are lucky in this case.
