    Ginsan sensotron returns coin

Did you leave the sample coin in it? Check the wires that go to the solenoid on the side. Hold the gate open to see if coins drop through where they should. If none of this helps, swap the acceptor to another bay.

Can’t source a valve. Anyone know?

The numbers read across. When I Google CP550-30-B-0-8H-240-H I find lots of results. It's called a cartridge valve. It's not anything super special or proprietary.

    Lazy rednecks?

Something to add to the disclaimer. I'd probably do 48 hours. "Cameras inspect your car for pre-existing damage before entry. Any damage claims must be submitted within two days."

    Enhanced Self Service?

FWIW for a couple years I operated a state safety inspection station out of an unused automatic bay. Just having someone on site and keeping everything working properly and consistently really helped the wash improve, and the inspections paid my salary. The car wash income doubled in the first...

    Vacuum Suction!

Are these the ones with one single door? You can usually tell if it isn't sealing well if the gasket is dirty in some areas.

    Ginsan sensotron returns coin

There may be coins still in the return path.

    Lazy rednecks?

You can double your storage by reducing the framerate to 15. You'll still get enough frames to catch everything, and it will view smooth enough that it won't be uncomfortable to watch.

Dixmor 6 timer and equipment room timers

Look at the wiring. If the blue wire with the black stripe from the timer terminal 6 goes straight to the rotary switch, the timers in the room have been disconnected. If it's still using the old timers in the room, that wire won't go anywhere. You'll need to connect the Dixmor to the switch...

    First touchless build please help

Historically, a single IBA built from ground up will not succeed. Even double IBAs end up selling within a couple years or go back to the bank for someone else to pick up cheap before they become profitable. Do you have a site picked out? How is the traffic flow? Is it at an intersection...

    Lazy rednecks?

This kind of person is why 40 years ago I stopped suggesting to people that they should pressure the gritty stuff off their car before using the foam brush.

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

FWIW, I'm planning to go back to Procons, mainly because I want to try delivering presoak and wax at 150 PSI.

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

I don't have anything to take the pressure off the Flojet while it's not running, and I don't have any trouble with them. I just have a good water separator on the compressor and drain it every day. If you do add an air solenoid to the Flojets, you should either add something like a tee with...

    Anyone use Hydraflex Evo?

I have worked on D&S self serve equipment that I was told was developed with Hydraflex, and uses a lot of the same components. Injector failures are common, there are a lot of injectors, and they are expensive. I'd take Flojets any day over the troubles these guys are having with failed...

    RO System

I can't say for sure, 1/2" OD tubing seems too small to me, but it's probably sufficient flow at 200 PSI. It might take some strain off the pump, but it probably won't significantly change the production.

    Hamilton validator repair

This, because in the process of changing the rollers you will almost 100% need to have the unit realigned, not something you can do in the field. I'd upgrade it with whatever Etowah Valley Equipment is using in their conversion kit nowadays.

    Pump running on its own

About the only thing it can be is the contactor that has arced and fused closed. If pulling the fuse for 24V didn't stop it, it is for sure the contactor.

    Pulsating high pressure

In my experience, it's more likely to be a low pressure seal failed. If there's water dripping from under the pump, it's definitely the problem.

    Pulsating high pressure

They aren't hard to rebuild, but it's definitely a good idea to have a rebuilt backup. I don't change out the whole pump, I keep a manifold plumbed with unions ready to swap out, which takes all of five minutes. Is this pulsating constant, whether the trigger is pulled or not? Or does it...

    Hamilton DRS Hopper Motor Swap

The new switches have been out for maybe five years. They aren't supposed to need adjustment, so there's no adjustment instructions, but they do usually need minor tweaking.

    RO System

30 TDS is borderline. Some manufacturers say 50 is the threshold, but my test is to clean the windows well enough that water beads on them, spray spot free rinse on them and let it dry in the sun. At 50 it will spot, at 30 it's not noticeable.
