21 Y/O, Potential First Car Wash, No RE Experience

This will probably end up being your biggest hurdle. Banks don't like to loan money for car washes and tend to want at least 30% up front. You will want to get a P&L from the owner, but these are so easily fudged they're usually meaningless. Water bills will give you a more accurate look at...

    My passes make sense?

If you're having a lot of troubles like that, get a blanket CTW for your property. You won't have to be there to meet the police, they can just show up, issue a criminal trespass warrant, and escort the person off, then if they show up again they get arrested. You only have to show a photo or...

    My passes make sense?

I've had people drive inches from my ladder in a bay while I'm on it. I've had people pull into a bay I'm cleaning and park and expect me to just stop what I'm doing. I was getting my wash open today after three weeks being down for a broken water main, and I must have had fifty people pull up...

    Damaged Convertible Top

Waxman is right on all counts. Those are not marks from your Water Wizard. The turbo nozzle marks would run the length of the roof, not go back and forth on it and be only on half. I also recommend changing the disclaimer sign, adding "Not responsible for damage to cars more that ten years...

    Pulsating high pressure

No, you just need the seal kit 30623, 6 48361 valve o-rings and 6 43358 backup rings. The seal kit comes with new plungers seals. Don't change them, just save them. I recommend keeping one set of valves on hand. They rarely go bad, but they can sometimes. 30821

Fuses for the bay keep blowing

When you take some photos, try and show everything. I can't tell from your video which contactor the motor goes to. The fuses are obviously in front of the right contactor, so whatever that starts is your problem.

    Question about membrane size

Good question. Ideally you want to use the one the system was designed for. Some of them don't have adjustments and just have solid fittings drilled out to a certain size to allow the right amount of flow, and usually have a pump made for a particular flow. If a system like that is made for a...

Everyone I know is doing Armor All at $1.25. Kleen-Rite has a regular deal of buy 10, get 1 free, which makes them 51¢ each.

    Weep solenoid

I've always mounted them horizontally with the coil on top. I've just done it that way because it's easier to service. The manual says it can be mounted any way as long as the coil is above the valve body, probably to keep water out of the coil in case of a leak...

Hamilton Goldline Stolen need some assistance.

I missed that it's a factory Mars. I didn't know they use a 24V model. I don't think I've ever even seen a factory Goldline with a Mars. I did recently buy a 24V Mars off eBay, pretty sure it was an AE2602, but they aren't common like they were a couple years ago.

    Weep solenoid

For part number clarity, DEMA O474P is 1/2" normally open. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-18585-dema-0474p-120v-1-2-solenoid-valve-normally-open.aspx I use the 3/8" version, no particular reason for choosing that size, the valve is identical otherwise. They've been 100% reliable.

How do I add a buzzer?

No, you need the ATX-411L. You have the ATX-411E. It will let your customers restart the bay with one coin for 20 seconds after time runs out.

Hamilton Goldline Stolen need some assistance.

FWIW, I've had to make repairs after that happening. I used a Hamilton base bolted down with 3/4" wedge anchors with a 5th one in the center sticking up 6" and a nut on top, mixed 10 bags of concrete inside. The one before had maybe five bags in it, only bolted down with 1/4" lag bolts and...
