    Why wouldn't it be?

    Water Wizard 1.0 Refurbish

Considering what you've accomplished in so little time, I'll bet you will have no trouble understanding how the unit works and have it running properly.

    LED lighting upgrades

There is so little difference in cost between a replacement and the bulb that I'd go with the full replacement.

Just got this PM’d to me ???

Yeah, that's what it would take.

Just got this PM’d to me ???

Definitely a scam. I got it too. I'd like to know how he can clean bays, sweep trash, dump garbage, etc. with software.

    American Changer AC8001 Display Lighting

Is it really the lighting or is the display weak and difficult to read even in the daytime? If it's the latter, there should be a contrast adjustment for that.

The customer is always right...until they're no longer a customer.

    Electroswitch rotary trouble

I haven't used the plastic one myself, but that's what I've noticed about them when I see them at the washes. Try the regular one with the rubber boot and a dab of dielectric grease. They last at least ten years...

Mirror damage to an old car

If you don't have a disclaimer posted, possibly. A lot of operators have a notice of "Not responsible to damage to cars 10 or more years old" for this very reason.

    Ceramic coatings

Are you applying high pressure or low pressure? Either way, 75:1 seems way too high considering the stuff costs over $200 for five gallons.

    Rowe BC 1400 problems

I just got one from this seller: https://www.ebay.com/usr/vendingmachineparts He has another for sale, the one I got is like new. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133958358320?hash=item1f308a5530:g:ACAAAOSwhvFZNV95 If I'm not mistaken, upstackers and downstackers are interchangeable. The only issue...

Replace Jim Coleman keypad with Rotary Knob?

You can use the old bracket by hammering one of the up-bends flat, then bend the bit with the hole for the stud 180° and it will line up again with the stud. The timer display will be off-center from the opening, but it'll work until you get the Coleman retrofit bracket...

    Rowe BC 1400 problems

The best way to fix an old Rowe is to throw a stick of dynamite in it and then call your insurance. I've upgraded one to take a Hamilton hopper and controller. It was very easy and cost about $500 in used parts, not counting the validator (It had been upgraded to a Mars validator which by...

    LED lighting upgrades

I've considered it. I want eventually to have four lights per bay instead of the two, and to have a pair come on with entry to a bay. I wouldn't want the place dark unless whatever sensor will turn lights on for someone walking.

    First Semi-urgent problem!

They shouldn't. They're only for cold rinse, and presoak comes out of a tank which has to meet with water out of another tank, otherwise the pressure will just stop the flow of presoak. The only thing that should open with your presoak solenoid will be the 453P solenoid on the high pressure...

    Advice on bay height restriction

Good way to get sued, probably wouldn't stop the dump trucks, but I like the way you think.

ACW4 Changed all prices to $63.75 on its own.

I check eBay about once a week for Hamilton spares I might need. Gotta watch out for the idiots who try and sell a used hopper or controller for 90% of what a new one runs. I managed to talk one guy down to a reasonable price on a used hopper, turned out to be almost like new inside.

    Hardwired air compressor

240V compressors usually come with no plug, so they usually end up getting hard-wired when they're installed. TBH I'd rather have something as big as a 7.5 HP motor hard-wired than plugged in, or I'd use an extra-heavy plug and commercial grade outlet.
