If you know enough that you know how many systems you have room for, how do you not have a rough cost? What information do you have so far? What sort of system are you looking at? You say "drive through systems," is this a fully automatic machine?

You don't have to "lobby" a company. You just have to ask them to design and manufacture something. It doesn't matter if it's foreign or not. And I'm pretty sure most of us know that Australia is a foreign country, except maybe for JustClean.

I made the bay hose so short that the gun wouldn't touch the floor in an attempt to keep them from washing outside the bay. I was hoping it would get rid of them, but it didn't.

To get 450 PSI it takes a big pump. One local guy with two washes had a large General high pressure pump, severe overkill but it was so underworked it would probably have lasted forever. I use a Cat 390 pump rated at 12 GPM, again overkill but it will easily run 5 bays at once at 450 PSI...

Try unplugging the wires to the buttons in the pump room for that bay.

That's pretty dismal. Just out of curiosity, where are your vendors in relation to the bill changer? I've found that the nearer they are, the better they do. Mine are literally right next to it.

I would drop items that aren't likely to sell or replace them with ones that do rather than get rid of vending altogether. It's certainly not a high profit part of my business, but the customers want it and it does make decent money. I only have two vendors (towels and Armor All protectant)...

I use Teflon tape and tighten gently.

Where do they leak? It's pretty easy to split plastic fittings by overtightening or hanging too much weight off them.

I get these direct for like $9 apiece. They're full 3/8" ID. I've had to redo several Coleman washes and they use steel ones, lots of them. Half the time I have to cut them off and put a new end on the hose because they don't come loose, or they just break...

Steel is fine downstream of the pump. All the hose fittings downstream of the pump are steel anyway. If they made that elbow fitting in stainless I'd probably use that instead.

Make sure the switch isn't loose where it turns even a little with the selector being turned. It doesn't take much movement for the wire strands to break. I had to track down a problem just like that a couple weeks ago.
