    Purchasing another wash

Yes, I noticed that also. Not sure if that's part of the assembly itself or something foreign that could have caused this. I'll know more later.

    Purchasing another wash

First, let me apologize for putting this on this particular thread; I probably should have started a new one. But I had just gotten back from the site and was royally pissed and saw this comment from the originator about being a little wary about friction, so I thought I'd throw it in here...

    Purchasing another wash

You said you were worried about "friction." This is what my Profile did this morning. 2nd time this has happened. First time was 8 months ago just before X-mas.

    Hammered in Texas

Rockport is getting the worst of it. It's been raining here for days. Corpus Christi is telling people not to flush their toilets because of sewer overflow. We're doing okay out here in the sticks, although we have a couple areas of ponding water where the concrete is low, the worst at the...

1 more IBA menu pricing question

Coach, as you know, we're in a small rural town of around 5,000 pop. and have a full range of customer demographic from low-income to higher income who live in the upscale subdivisions on Lake Corpus Christi which is adjacent to our town. Our prices for our Profile are $7, $10 and $13, with 60%...

Strange things found at the car wash

Ha! The things people leave are mind-boggling -- we've found all sorts of furniture, a brake disc, and a rifle left in a gun-case next to one of the trash cans (was turned over to the police). Sometimes bullets, used and unused, are found in the wash bay, syringes. The list is endless.

    Dog in a Car Wash

I pretty much agree with you. Although amusing to watch, it's also scary. Probably filmed in a 3rd World country where just about anything goes.

    Dog in a Car Wash

This short video will bring a smile to your face -- something we probably all need. Not sure where it was filmed, possibly Europe somewhere.

    Getting some touch free ideas

We are in a "small, rural town" on a major recreational lake with lots of farmers, ranchers, hunters, people fishing, etc. Our WW Profile has had no problems with picking up things in trucks because the top brush does not touch the pick up bed. It goes over the roof of the truck and stays at...

    Washworld Profile

We have several customers with flat-bed pick-ups that come through our Profile and we haven't had any problems.

    Algea on the floor

We spray straight bleach on it and then power wash.

    White Vehicles

Ha. Actually, I believe the Razor w/Power Tower that we'll be adding in the next few months will do just as good of a job. Fingers crossed.

    White Vehicles

A couple of months ago I posted an article talking about White being the most popular color for car purchases and mentioned it's great for the car wash business. Just captured this pic from our video -- 5 vehicles lined up -- all white. Ya don't catch this too often.

    SBA Loan Forgiveness

We have an existing SBA Loan that started in 2016 when we started our car wash. In 2020, due to the pandemic, the SBA made 6 months of payments for us (May-Oct. 2020). In 2021, we got notice they would pay another 6 months starting in Feb. They made Feb. and March payments and then quit, so...

What's in a name ? What should we name our new tunnel express car wash?

Definitely something with a Chicago vibe to it. Windy City Wash.

    Razor or Razor Edge

No, just the HyperFlex. It can be bought separately. We're not getting any of the extra lighting effects.

    Razor or Razor Edge

We're getting HyperFlex with our Razor as an "optional add-on."

    Razor or Razor Edge

Coach, we decided on the Razor over the Razor-Edge when we do our addition in a couple of months. I was advised that the Edge, with all it's fancy lights, etc. can be a pain in the butt from an electrical standpoint w/alot of maintenance. You can always add other options to the Razor if...

PDQ access wash card magnetic strips failing

We've been using the PDQ WALS cards since we started in 2016 and I have not yet had any complaints from users advising that the cards don't work. Could have been a bad batch of cards.

Another day at the car wash....

On Tuesday, I got a call from a customer who is at the entry machine. He wanted to tell me that a homeless crazy guy was harrassing people in line, asking for money, waving his arms wildly, talking to himself, and then he took off his shirt and was running around half-naked. I immediately...
