Hydra-flex AquaLab MD Issues on New Sonnys Tunnel

I will be interested to see the response. I do not have the system so I could only guess either the constant duty or constant duty with nemerous pressure fluctuations stress the pump. I was in the backroom of a 2 year old Sonny's tunnel and was surprised to see 4 different solution setups...

    Pulley for General Pump

Bought a model TS 1811 to replace the unit I use for cleaning the tunnle and optional HP initial rinse for snow and ice. Don't recall what I replaced but specs were about the same. BUT, the slot in the existing bushing for the pulley was slightly narrower than the key that fits in the...

Social Media and Web Pages, Are they really worth it?

Nada, zip. Recently was approached by Yelp. Told them I would not cross the street to urinate on them if they were on fire. It's very difficult if not impossible to respond to BS posts. Seen same BS on many tunnel reviews.

    EE No Vending

Been viwing local Chicagoland EE's. typicaly put together by a Sonny's distributor. Conspicuously absent are any vending machines, air freshener or shampoo machines etc. They are often set up so cars exit to the street. I have heard the benefit is to reduce the BS of customers looking at a...

Bank deposits. Does anyone use a service where the bank picks them up?

Have had a key for the "night Drop" for decades. Used it many times at odd hours or bank Holidays. Few issues. Other than that the routine is varied. I sometimes joke (not too loudly) that it's a robbery in reverse. I come and leave a bag of Cash. I typiclay use Fed Ex Envelopes.

    Advice

That is not correct. >>>Governmental Tort Immunity .................. As an example, a private citizen who is injured by another private citizen who runs a red light generally may sue the other driver for Negligence. But under a strict sovereign immunity doctrine, a private citizen who is...

    Drying Ability/Final Rinse Question

You have lots of good questions. IMO the best answer is that due to the variables present your best answer will come thru experimentation. Using an HP arch simply for rinsing is an expensive choice.

    Wobblehead now $72.00 at kleen-rite

Bought and installed a couple of years ago. I can't ay that it made any financial difference but at least the guy doesn't use it as a broom to sweep out the dirty pickup bed and mess up the hogs hair brush and I get my money's worth in satisfaction making it difficult for the freeloaders.

    Making own coin box/safe

Well, then buy one from KR, or better, someone that has one with the high security cover option like Coleman, and copy it. You'll spend several hundred dollars for the Model, probably thousands to replicate it, a few times. Or you can buy the ready made ones and if you desire, ad an...

    Drying Ability/Final Rinse Question

I have what is called a "Setting Arch" after the DA. It is fresh water. Seems counterintuitive to add water after something that helps the water run off but for whatever reason it works.

    Bill Counter - Mixed Value

IO recently had my fiorst ever unit serviced (Not the royal Sovereign) that one is a Toyocom. Think I paifd about $600 15 years ago. Anyway, asked what they had and they said they had a Cummins 4062 that they could not upgrade for the new 100's which is not really an issue since the biggest...

weep questions, when to shut down, etc.

    1. If you are closed, people get used to you being closed. 2. I was very surprised how many people wash in the 20's and teens and even colder. 3. Low budget may be tripping over dollars to pick up nickels. 4. As noted you can use a closed loop system to heat the trough. Operational costs are...

Tire Flat Coming Out of Car Wash Tunnel - Covered or Not Covered?

2 issues: 1. Non oem - you are not responsible. 2. A. OEM, especialy first gen, are prone to failure for no reason. Do a google search - Not responsible for defect. 2. B. OEM failure of TPMS because someone decided a metal dustcap looked good. dissimilar metals cause corrosion - Do a google...

Dilution Ratios For Chemicals in Wash Tunnel

Need to add, when I tried KR or other products for that matter the dilution was only part of the equation. (Show and effectiveness being a given. ) In fact I followed the same procedure. Tried the products at the same dilution. The primary attraction was raw product cost. KR soaps may have...

Dilution Ratios For Chemicals in Wash Tunnel

To the contrary, perhaps he should try. It's not rocket science. Try the same products I use, in the same applications. Hook them up in the same manner the current solution is hooked up. See how it works, show and effect. If it's the same or better dial down the dilution and see what...
