How many pumping stations does the 1 inch line feed?
I have a Chart that says Max Safe GPM for 1" Pipe is 18. I think a Flo Jet is rated at 7 GPM max. Don't know what the volume you are using from the Tsunami but as you can see, you could easily exceed the max of the 1" Line.
a 2" line...
Therein lies an importnt Dilemma. Many operators do not belong to any association, go to any trade shows, or check out the internet forums. Same may not know about these resources and many more not really care to use them.
Is there a way to change this?
I do not have pay stations. The loader is the cashier. 5% for the top would be on the high end and the busier we get the lower the %.
We do a fairly large # of Taxis. They get the basic was but may come several times a week.
Is the pressure at the meter or at the line feeding the pumping stations? If the latter what is the realtive size of that line vs the size of your service?
MAde an order .

Quarters recycled to my Changers are not counted. (The Changers count them as they are converted to bills. ) Quarters recycled to Cashiers are weighed using a cheap Harbor Freight Scale. I just weigh out containers of $50 0r $100 dollars and exchange them for Bills as needed.
When I first saw these units at the ICA show and I asked the reps about chemical usage I forget if they said 50 cents per application or$1.50 per application. I said "Sounds like a chemical reps dream" . He said "We all need our dreams".
Having said all that I still wonder if the Tunnel...
I use KR Cherry Blossom Foam with utlra lean pink Tip. I thin it's 400/1. I have one Flo Jet at 10-15psi and a vac blower motor.
Trying something else now. Good show, lower cost. I will report back on that.
At 40 PSI x 3 that is about 12 GPM. Wat does that cost you at a factor of 20 seconds...
With some new competition coming in I have now switched to tri Color foam sticks (Home made) at each location. Each stick uses 1/3 the product of the other system so it only needs a little more backroom stuff, but no extra solution cost.
I hope I don't shock anyone by saying I agree with RR. Locations vary by geography and demographics. Geographicaly the coasts have higher prices for everything than the flyover states. Areas that are more rural may be cheaper than more urban locations. Similarly a large commercial vehicle...
I'd go with 12. You never know when the spirit might move you to add something like a wheel brush, In bay Dryer, Triple foam, In bay compressed air and having the function available will make it an easier upgrade.
IMNSHO poay one price is not proven succesful, there are only anecdotal examples. No proof this will be a profitable option. Location physical characteristics may severely impede viability of adding flex / express as will competition.
I think the oerative term was "HAD" . I had my rep sell me 2 on a money back guarantee if I did not like them... Got my moey back . Was not suitable for SS use. (We had them fitted with Token acceptors.)
Instead of ripping out and replacing meter boxes to add CC and Bill aceptance you might save a lot of $ and get plenty of impact by adding a seperate box for Bill acceptance and new decals for old boxes. Something like cryptopay CC acceptance can easily be put on the faceplate of the Bill...
