Radius issue - Arm rotating randomly and hitting car.

Second time this has happened. 1st time the arm rotated as if it was clear of the drivers front fender, but was really in the middle of the vehicle, and proceeded to go up and over the vehicle ( shouldn't there be a sensor to stop the wash if it detects the arm is pivoted/bent?). This happened...

Pet Peeve: Never getting to relax

100% agree with Randy. I’m fortunate enough to have a reasonably competent, honest attendant that lives on site. If something goes to all hell, he just puts a cone out. I’ve been gone for up to 3 weeks and actually the place always seems to “kill it” business wise when I’m gone. This summer...

Vacuum Motor "Upgrade" for strongest suck

Yep. That'll do it. I instruct my attendant when changing the filters as per our schedule, to make sure the screens are free of debris. I've seen them completely covered.

Weep check valve...no, not that one.

I have the same problem. I found faulty check valves coming out of the rinse tank and thought I found my problem. Replaced with 3/4" Fluid Controls CV's and still have the problem but less severe. I might have gotten 1-2 bad ones ( 1 confirmed ). I always five them a good "blow" check to...

    Nashville ICA Show

Yeah, this is my first time and I was used to the millions of options we have in Vegas. Slim pickens here in Nashville. I booked a place 2 blocks from the center.

    Foam brush heads

These are my first try with these brushes. I have some going on a year with no issues ( although the bristles are getting thin). I found that the hogs hair were lasting 6 months at best at 3x the cost. These brushes are bigger, denser, and have the side sections. My customers like them

    Foam brush heads

I bought an inexpensive NPT tap & Die set from Harbor Freight and between tapping the hole for the handle, I also drill and countersink a screw to retain the handle in the head, takes me all of 5 mins.

    Foam brush heads

I started using these after reading a suggestion on here for them: https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-57842-tb-14x3cr-noghair-multi-level-wash-brush.aspx Last longer than the Erie Hogs Hair and at 1/3 the price.

    PCI scan and Video System

I have 5 static IP's and my broadband service - costs $100/mo. What does it cost there?

    PCI scan and Video System

Yeah, you're going to need to separate the NVR from the other stuff. I have two separate routers. One that my server/POS/CC stuff is connected through, and an ASUS that is for my NVR. I would also think that a dynamic IP would be a PITA - get statics.

Are you using a static IP? I use port 80 and have no issues passing the PCI

    Anyone researched Burglar Alarms lately?

Anything made by man is defeat-able by man given enough time. You're just buying time, and the likelihood that someone skilled enough to jam signals isn't going to spend the time on the corner car wash.
