    Undercarriage Washer

Anyone try the (New??) undercarriage washer shown in the industry mag? I think it's from Hypro. Looks like Foam brush handle with a T at the bottom and a Bar with 3 Jets and a poly cylinder on either side of the center jet along with a bucket / holder to place it in when not in use. Seems like...

Need Advice on Removing Tar from Self Serve Bay Walls and Concrete

WD 40 works but is much more expensive than Diesel. Gasoline works but it evaporates quicker and is more flammable than Diesel. Out of the 3 I would use Diesel. Just had to use it to remove some tar / undercoating on the FRP SS walls.

Update - Give Ra Lock the code. (Don't recall where I got them from originaly.) Ra Lock calls back a few hours later and says Medeco won't give them the locks because the number is regitered to someone else. They tell me who and give me a phone number. I figure it's some other distributer...

    Medeco Plug Lock issues

There is a piece of paper packaged with the locks and keys that says "Blind code" it matches the metal tag stamped numbers with the keys. . Sadly, no receipt so I will try Ra Lock. I only need locks, (Spares) no keys . I figured blind code meant it somehow matches up to a seperate key code as...

    Medeco Plug Lock issues

Recently started having issues with some Medeco Pluck locks in my changers. These are inside protected from the elements whereas no issues with the ones in the SS Vault doors. First they wouldn't go in easily and I had to depress the bar on the side with my finger to get it to go in. Later, the...

    Heated CTA's

Thought I saw a post by Mr. Hoffman about one somewhere. Can you just plumb hot water to it? Too much stagnant time causing temp loss?

    When to start RFID/Unlimited programs.

If you are in the Snow / Salt belt, I would do it ASAP to work out any kinks. Nothing sells the need for washing like salty dirty cars. Get people in the habit when they really need it as opposed to when the need is less frequent.

    Soap, Wax, and City Pressure

2 Biz, Not sure what yor overall plan or goal is but the feed to my pump stand reservoir has the hot and Cold T'd together with a valve on each. That way as the weather gets colder I can simply close the Cold more and more and open the hot more and more. I guess I have some temp loss if the...

    In-Bay and Vac Station Lights

The companys always seem to quote payback if you burn them 24 hours a day. If you use 10 cents a KW hour as an easy rat for calculation, yours may vary, 100 W = 1 cent. So a 100 W saves 3 cents an hour . If you burn them 12 hous a day thats 36 sents. So at that usage you make itt back in a...

    RFID for Vacuums

Couldn't the RFID simply energize a relay providing power and you would still need to push a button to activate a timer? I would think this is a better way to do, so the vac only operates as needed, not whenever the RFID is close.

There may also be factors that would lead a prospective buyer to pay more than other buyer or simple formulas might suggest. In the "Buyer beware " department, while it is typical for Sellers of cash business to claim receipts are higher than reported and you trust that at your own risk, a potentialy worse scenario is the person who siphns revenue from another operation thr the SS wash to boost it's revenue to enhance...

As MEP says cosmetics is the key. Banged up stainless - Hard to make look good. Any other stainless can usualy be made to look great with cleaning, and new decals. Plasic tops can look great with sparay paint made for plastic. (If they are lighted, the light won't shine thru the paint) Make...
