    Roof Trough for bay hoses

We use a local “residential duct supplier” to fab our troughs. 22ga galvanized steel, bent to form an “L”. 8-1/2” wide x 5-1/2” high x 1” lip x 10’ long. 2 ”L“s create the trough and provides swing room for wrenches. We glue 3/4” polyiso to insulate…and heat cable to keep it warm. The...

    Cleaning a Raypack Tube Bundle

Soot is the result of incomplete combustion. Incomplete combustion is caused by insufficient make-up air. Insufficient make-up air is caused by closed or improperly sized room air venting. Many operators disable or block the combustion air vents in the equipment room in an attempt to reduce...

    More floor heat help

The by-pass valve’s purpose is to reduce condensation of the tube bundle (heat exchanger). On cold startups it takes a long time for the returning fluid to bring the tube bundle up to non-condensing temperatures. Condensation combines with combustion gasses and soot and drips from the tube...

    Cat 310 pump Motor

    I prefer 5HP because my market area operators like to push the limits… #6 spray tips at 1,300-1,400 psi = 3.5 to 3.8 GPM Those numbers exceed the 3HP motor’s specs… 1,300psi x 3.5gpm = 4550 / 1460* = 3.11 HP required 1,400psi x 3.8gpm = 5320 / 1460* = 3.64 HP required *Cat Pumps Handy Formula...

    Couple Electroswitch rotary questions

The 2nd stack of Electroswitch’s 8-position (31302MQ) and 10-position (30302LA) switched are typically a “Make Before Break” configuration…meaning each position will make contact before disconnecting the previous position. So, if your high-pressure functions are wired to adjacent switch...

The xcp stuff is news to me...so, no. I believe Ginsan recommends an auxillary stop button but I've never seen that either.

this is becoming harder than it needs to be.( NAYAX)

I recommend staying on hold until tech service answers. It might take an hour or so of listening to the repeating message and "music" but someone will finally pick up the call. Tip: Don't call after 4PM EDT...

    NAYAX Questions

I've installed VPOS Touch readers with CAT5e LAN using Nayax's RJ11 to RJ45 adapters. Authorizations are super-fast with a network switch and Comcast Business router/modem. https://shop.nayax.com/usa_en/vpos-touch-eth-rj11-male-to-rj45-female-cable.html

    Question for nayax users...

Our installations do not use any relays. I’m not sure why Nayax recommends them. With Dixmor LED6 timers…This is how we wire them: 2 Nayax wires labeled “24vac/dc” to constant coin box 24vac Hot 2 Nayax wires labeled “24vac/dc” to constant coin box 24vac Common 1 Nayax wire labeled “Pulse 1”...

    Nayax timer question

First...Nayax is not a timer. The Nayax VPOS Touch connects a single wire (Pulse 1) to the Dixmor LED6 (Pin 8). There is no “reverse communication” from the timer to the CC reader. So, no coin counts via Nayax. However, each LED6 records and can display coins deposited using Dixmor’s remote...

Cat 310 low pressure and pulsating like crazy

First step when dealing with pulsation and low pressure is to remove and inspect all 6 valves. A common issue will be broken or missing valve o-rings and backup rings...or, debris stuck in the valve. Program the LED6 Coins to Start at 12 Time Per Coin to 15 With coins, this starts the bay for $3.00 for 3 minutes. Each additional coin adds 15 seconds. During credit card Count Up, the Dixmor simply displays accumulating money being charged. The CC Minimum charge is established by your Nayax...

    Mixed pressure on cat pump

If you haven't replaced the spray tip recently, do so now. When setting final pressure, always do so with the trigger pulled on the gun.

    Cat 530 machine gun

First step when troubleshooting a pulsating pump is to check for air leaks in the liquid supply lines. Old push-to-connect fittings…cracked soap & wax tubing…poorly wrapped pipe threads, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've corrected an air leak by rewrapping an "over-taped" fitting. Three...
