Ryko OHD - faulting on front corner of car

When the arm is to the passenger side, you should have X41 (arm rotate right rear) and X42 (arm rotate right front) on. When it makes that turn to wash the front, you should lose X41, X42 should stay on, and X43 (arm rotate left front) should come on. Attached is a schematic.

Ryko OHD - faulting on front corner of car

Thanks. The video will help. After it detects the right side, it should drive forward waiting for the front ultrasonic sensors to detect the floor. Once it does, it should rotate until the two front rotate prox inputs are detected (X42 and X43 should be on). Once that happens, the arm should...

Ryko OHD - faulting on front corner of car

Can you send a video of it happening during the wash? Does your machine have 6 ultrasonic sensors up on the gantry, or does it have 4 on the gantry and 2 on the side walls (or stands near the walls)?

    Advice on Replacing my Automatic

Sorry to hear of the vehicle strike, but great to hear of one that had been working hard through 16 years!

    Vortex Vaccums

You should be able to just wire a momentary switch in place of the coin switch marked A7 on the schematics. Program the timer so it starts with one "quarter". Since the momentary switch is simulating a quarter pulse, one press should give you the time you have programmed in for each quarter...

    brushes

Unfortunately, the 21821-002 CORE/AL PIPE,4-3/4"X24-5/8 is no longer available. We do have the 21821-019 available, but it's slightly longer at 25-1/4" in length. For the brushes, it looks like the brush you are looking for is 22499-012, and that should be available. If you would like...

Softgloss Maxx Q10 breaker keeps kicking

Please look inside your control cabinet and you should find a blue label that shows what that circuit protector should be set to. Make sure it's set properly. Most likely it's exactly what Steve mentioned tripping on some area of the vehicle that is catching the brush. The second most likely...

Softgloss Maxx Q10 breaker keeps kicking

Q10 should be your right rear brush circuit protector.

    New Automatic for short bay

A "standard" recommended minimum would be 11'-4"H x 34'-9"L (to use track extensions) x 15'-2" W. You can go down to 14'-6" width without having any issues. These would be for a machine without an off-board dry, so free and clear space. By adding the short bay kit, you can get it down to as...

    New Automatic for short bay

A Softgloss will work fine in that bay using a short bay kit to close the rear arms when it travels towards the entrance

    Ryko Top Brush

The arm proxes should all be "off" when the arms are fully retracted (out). As the arms come in, the proxes should turn "ON", and as they go fully closed, they should go "off". If you have one shorting on when fully retracted, the machine shouldn't arm. If it wasn't shorted when armed, and it...

How many guys have 2 IBA's?

The Softgloss can wash a dually, so long as you don't use wheel scrub. If you use the HP wheel blaster, it would work fine. For the customizability of wash packages, this year, we released WashBuilder which will give you much more flexibility in letting you create the wash package you would...

    Short bay, need suggestions...!!!

In a 33' bay, a Softgloss with on-board dry can wash up to around a 21' long vehicle using a short bay kit. The short bay would allow the rear arms to fold in during non-brush passes so it can travel further to the rear.

Ryko OHD gantry stuck - will not move

All, if you are following this thread, the K12 (drive reverse) relay had an internal wire come loose.

Ryko OHD gantry stuck - will not move

No. Just use the forward/reverse drive switches. Without the endstop proxes being connected, that will likely allow the machine to move. What can happen is that if you have a machine that is driving reverse, and the front endstop prox flickers for some reason, the machine knows it's out of...

Ryko OHD gantry stuck - will not move

It most likely had a flicker of one of the endstop proxes while it was in a cycle causing it to be out of sequence. Please try removing wire 45 from PLC input X51, and also wire 46 from PLC input X53. This should allow you to manually drive the gantry. Drive it to the middle of the track...

    Intermittent Softgloss Code 14

Please try to push the machine just a little and cause it to rock. If it does, most likely one (or both) of your drive wheel keystocks are either worn, or at least loose. The set screws in the reducer collars that lock the keystock into position need to be tightened monthly. If they have been...

    Ryko OHD lp intermittent issue

Is this a US2001 OHD model machine? If so, what is the serial number? Which breaker is tripping? It should be marked with a Q followed by a number. I agree it's likely a water solenoid coil pulling too much current.
