Problem with foam brush on Jim Coleman stand

I have a Jim Coleman Super Saver and my foam brush has been putting out very thick soap lately. I checked and the I am able to adjust the air pressure any way I like, but my chemical doesn't seem to go above 15-20 psi not matter what I set the regulator at. I tried changing the regulator...

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

The instructions do specifically mention to install an expansion tank.

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

Thanks for the pictures. I really love how clean all of your setups are. Are those screws in your pvc couplings? In regards to the sizing, I don't see how 50 gallons wouldn't be enough. Worse case if it isn't, the water would just be cold until it caught up, but it would keep everything...

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

I just realized that my current tank is 100 gallons. What's the best way to figure out what size I need? I have a six bay and the soap, wax, presoak and fb are heated.

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

Good tip on reading the instructions, that clarified the install for me. Do you use an expansion tank on yours? I don't see it in your picture. I don't have one in my current setup.

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

How was the install? I have my current tank in the corner on some blocks just like yours, but the flue is on top. How is this one vented out? I am wondering how much I would have to change to make it work. Also, how was it weight wise? Was it hard to position in initially, or did you need...

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

2biz, how much did you pay for yours? I remember searching for a tank a year ago and thought that I saw this tank for about a grand less.

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

I was talking about an actual water tank, not a storage tank. But funny thing, at my other wash my storage tank was leaking and I bought this same exact tank from Zoro too. I googled Zoro coupons and found one for 20% off, so I only paid $800+ for it and they delivered in two days.

Need to replace water tank, looking for recommendations

I am tired of my water tank and want to go ahead and replace it. It is the 199,999btu type so not a boiler, just a large water tank. I saw a mention here on the forum a while back of a nice really efficient water tank that size, but can't find the thread. Any recommendations are appreciated...

Air compressor keeps tripping limit switch

Thanks for all of the replies. I drained the water really good this morning and restarted it, and so far it has been running without tripping for about 5 hours. I'll keep an eye on it and if it trips again I'll investigate further. I have to leave town tonight, so fingers crossed that it will...

Air compressor keeps tripping limit switch

Yesterday we had a power outage in the area that lasted about 3 hours. After the outage, I had to push the reset button on my compressor in order to get it going again. This wasn't a big deal as I've had to do that before after an outage. What is unusual though is that now I have had to reset...

Should I go with count up or count down with Cryptopay in my bays?

I am at $2 for a 3.5 minute start. For credit cards, I have a minimum $3 charge as a startup for both count up and down. My max for count up is $15, then they have to swipe again. I do have people that drive off and it runs to $15, but it is not that often and out of those, barely anyone ever...

Should I go with count up or count down with Cryptopay in my bays?

I use both, but not by choice. Count up is the way to go by far.

    Ryko SoftGloss Hangs

I had a similar issue and it was a mac valve. One of the functions are not operating properly, so it just shuts down when it gets to that function. Check your air pressure for all functions and try to find out at what point exactly the wash shuts down.

    Help with floor heat

I wanted to give an update on my floor heat issues. After trying most of the suggestions here with no luck, I reached out to a car wash operator that I know and he suggested that I call Raypak. I called and they were very helpful. The person I spoke to said that my symptoms sound like a dirty...

    Wobblehead now $72.00 at kleen-rite

Anyone try the new design? I was at one wash yesterday and 2 out of the 3 people in the bays at the time were using the brush dry, or with the weep from it. Made me really consider trying the wobble heads out.
