Buzzie, I would check to make sure you have voltage coming into the drive before go changing things,you should have power coming in at the top of the drive. Also check wiring connections at bottom of drive to terminal blocks.

If this is a unitec, I have had luck with polishing the chute w/steel wool and put light coat of wax on .
