    Removing water spots on windows

Start with something that is mildly acidic like vinegar. If that does not take it off try using some muratic acid in verying dilutions. Do this in the shade and not the sun. I use a cloth and carfully wipe the area and then wipe it off with a rag with water. Do not use hydrofluric acid. I know a...

    Mud mess signage in bays??

I post a sign saying $25 clean up fee if you leave bay muddy. It seems to have helped a little. I also think you loose money when a heavy mudded vehicle comes in.

D&S 5000 not cleaning on one presoak!!

Try increasing your dwell time first and see if that helps. Make sure the water temp is still hot enough. Many companies offer different presoaks for different areas and times of the year. You may need to try some different soaps. IN the winter you might have been cleaning magnesium chloride and...

    Ecolab Chemical Opinion

I have been with ecolab for 3 years now. I am happy with the chemicals especially the trifoam products. Other tirfoams I have tried caused various problems with my equipment. I had other trifoams cause swelling of orings within my sytem that made it hard to keep it running. The presoaks that I...

    replacing drilled out bay locks

On my meter doors I have installed a large slide bar that goes in front of the cam locks on the meter doors. Then I use a large big boy abus lock to keep the bar in place similar to what you see on many Vacs. I also use one of the large lock shackle covers on the big boy disc lock. I have one...

Does the medeco have a slotted disc in front of the key hole to help prevent drilling? Do you have any other kind of lock in front of the medeco giving you layered lock protection?

    Credit Card Options For Bays

As I understand it there is a charge per each swipe of a card on these small purchase amounts. That is why the CC units batch them together to act as one card swipe. Etowah valley is not the only one that do it this way. Each processor will have their own per swipe charge and it will vary. Off...

    Ryko or Goldline

You need to check the gold line the next time this happens. See if there is a 2 digit code on the side of the acceptor. Also if you use the yellow button to reset the goldline it will tell you what problem it saw, Stacker time out, hopper jamb, etc. That should help narrow it down.

    Credit Card Options For Bays

I use the count down setup where the first card swipe charges the start up price of $2.50 and then each additional swipe is $1. Both are setable. When the first swipe is detected the wash starts and then it gets authorization for up to $15. THis authorization is usually in the first 20 seconds...

    Credit Card Options For Bays

I have had Etowah valleys quick pay system in for about a month. I checked a couple of my washes that are using them. Each has 3 SS bays and here are some figures from the first 10 days in April. My regular start up price is $2.50 for 4 and 1/2 minutes. Credit card usage is averaging $4.62 per...

    Road Trip

That you even found a SS wash in Jackson hole Wy. is a miracle. I know the one you are talking about. The value of the land that the SS bays sit on is worth well over a million dollars. The towns building department would make it impossible for anyone to build a wash to compete with it.

    Ryko SoftGloss Wheel Scrubs

Check the key that goes in the keyway on motor shaft that slips into the gear box. More often that not that is where I find the problem. You can buy motors locally much cheaper. Just match up the specs. I like to use baldor motors in place of the ryko supplied motors.
