Boom end fitting for foam brush?

In my experience, the hose will break or tear out of the fitting before it can break anything. The 3/8" barb would be a weak point for it to break, sounds like a good idea if you're worried about the boom getting damaged. I use a 3/8" male x 3/8" female "adaptor" in the high pressure booms for...

    Small town wash profits???

New friction machines and the material they use is much safer on paint. You can output a cleaner car at a significantly lower cost to you with friction. People on this forum who have friction and touchless in the same location say their customers gravitate toward the friction. Most of...

    Small town wash profits???

You could potentially do $3,000 a month per SS bay, $15,000 in the auto, another $4,000 from vacs and vending, I don't know dog washes but let's say $2,000. That's best case scenario. From there, start adding up the things that count against it. Small town population, you're on a main highway...

building stud walls inside car wash bay

A lot of car washes in coastal areas are built with a lot of wood because steel will rust out very quickly. You didn't ruffle feathers as much as you made yourself look ignorant.

    D&S 5000

If there's only the one line coming off the pump, you really don't need the solenoid. It's a DEMA 453P, which won't hold gravity flow from the tank without some pressure behind it. A good high-pressure check valve with 5 PSI cracking pressure will do the same job. Most units have a second...

    Cryptopay Setup

I have at another wash I was involved with. I basically copied what's on most gas pumps. It helped, but didn't stop the calls. People don't read signs, and once they're mad the signs are invisible to them.

    Small town wash profits???

You might start with less than that, assuming you mean you'll offer based on the land and building. If the wash is that bad, it might only be worth the value of the land MINUS the cost to demolish the building.

How do you secure your Undercarriage Pipe?

Epoxy anchors. Home Depot has the Hilti epoxy and sleeves, but you'll have to find an 11/16" masonry bit at a specialty store or Zoro.

    Pulsating pump issue

Pulsation dampeners are only there to smooth the normal vibration of a pump. There is no way a bad one will cause an issue like this. There's probably a pocket of air building somewhere in the inlet plumbing that eventually gets to the pump.

trying to install cryptopay in a dated carwash

He could reuse everything but the door, the timer, and the function decal. Wouldn't hurt to go to an electric coin acceptor, but he doesn't need to. Why?
