I’m installing spot free at the wash. I had a question about the hookup. I purchased a repressurization unit from ginsan that has a low water shut off. Apparently this has to be wired into the float switch. My current float switch just has an outlet plug on the end of it like the picture below...

One of my anchor bolts broke free from the concrete and had to be reanchered. I slightly tore one when I had to take them out. I’m sure it probably just deteriorated after that.

Changed the bags. It’s sucking a little better. I also have a plug missing in the bottom of the vacuum. Could that have something to do with loss of suction ?

Can someone tell me what you mean by the screen Under the motor? I pulled the motors it looks like the picture below. All three motors are still spinning when I open the top door. I change the hose out. The gaskets look good. The bags haven’t been cleaned in probably a year. Could that be the...

I’ve got a vacuum that is not sucking near as hard as the others. All three of the motors appear to be operating. Does anybody know what’s going on or have suggestions?

Im about to add spot free to the wash. I think I'm down to a waterway system or a ginsan system. Anybody have preference? One uses a procon pump, the other uses a goulds pump.

Thanks Randy, I was able to get the new validator working this morning. Do you refurbish validators?

Randy, I’ll remember that next time. I had already ordered a replacement from KR. They matched me up with at talos 6 validator. I went to install it today but the bill acceptor doesn’t fit through the faceplate on the changer. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to modify the faceplate?

Called MEI tech support today. He seemed to think I need a new validator or rebuild the existing one so that’s my next step I suppose. We’ll see how it goes from there.

I haven't done anything yet. I've been busy with other things. I still have a roll of plumbers tape propping up the bill box and haven't had an issue since I did this. I know its not a long term solution. I'll try and get it sorted out this week.

Where is the sensor on the validator? I cleaned the one on the bottom of the stacker. I assume there’s one that matches it on the validator?

Is it possible to swap out the sensor on the validator?

I cleaned the sensor on the bill box with some rubbing alcohol. It helped for a few days and then the problem began again.

I’m having problems out of my changer. It keeps saying validator no com. Whenever I prop it up a little it will work. Anybody have any idea what’s going on?

Have you had any holes punched in your paneling? That’s the thing that really concerns me about extrutech. Are your walls block? If so how did you attach the panels to block? Any idea what the price difference is vs FRP?

I was going to buy them from Lowe’s. Should I purchase somewhere else? I’ll send some photos tomorrow.

Mine are 20 plus years old. They look awful are beyond chemical clean up. Several of the dividers are busting. I don’t think they were ever cleaned before I took the wash over.

Do you guys have any suggestions on rivets? Are the nylon rivets from Lowe’s or Home Depot ok? I read in an older forum people were recommending fastenal rivets.
