    Hot water heater?

That era of Hydrospay equipment utilized the booster pump for circulating heated pre-soak to the roof-top plumbing trough. Each bay’s PS solenoid was teed in the circulating loop, above the bay. The concept is to use the heated PS to keep the trough warm. It’s a pain-in-the-neck to...

    Low Pressure Application Issues

Adding to Greg Pack's excellent advice... With all products being dispensed through a foam gun… Ensure your chemical blender (Hydrominder?) is functioning properly. Clean or replace the metering tip…make sure the Hydrominder discharge tube restrictor is in place. Sputtering products might...

    Have an old hydrospray system

Beyond fulfilling the developer’s dreams, the PLC: Inputs can be on/off time delayed. Provide outputs to multiple devices (solenoids/motor starters/water heaters, temperature-controlled circulating pumps, weep systems, etc.) Provides operator settings for price-to-start & bay timing. The coin...

    Hot water heater?

The HS hardware is quality stuff. Just be aware of the potential PLC concerns. The Modicon PLC program was written during HydroSpray's Precision Auto ownership...in the 1990s. AFAIK, Modicon is no longer in business. And, those old HS smart guys are long gone. I'd be surprised if the 4th...

    No Soap

HA! Virtually every customer of mine has the “glazed eye” condition. My service calls would likely be halved if there were corrective lenses or medication.

    Nayax to LED7 count up

That's the story. Might have something to do with the CryptoPay/Dixmor relationship? (Rumor and innuendo mode OFF) Too bad, because I like the LED6 display better.

    No Soap

Turn on a non-soaping bay. Place the tip of a pocket screwdriver on top of that bay's soap solenoid. If it feels magnetized the electrical circuit is functioning properly. If it doesn't, you have an open circuit...most likely the 24v commons for those 4 bays have become disconnected.

    Nayax to LED7 count up

Correct info Keno. Prior to the "redesign", Dixmor LED6 was the easiest way to install Nayax... Nayax Pulse wire 1 to LED6 Pin 8 (White/Black wire). Boom, Done! On the Dixmor LED7... Pulse wire 1 to LED7 Pin 9 (White/Black). Same Boom, Done! No interface Opto-coupler relay required.

    Nayax to LED7 count up

That's correct...in theory. Old Guy Side Note: Decades ago, those newfangled digital display coinbox timers used a board-mounted battery to maintain the programmed settings memory. If the timer's battery was dead and the car wash experienced a power outage...well, timer settings reprogramming...

    Nayax to LED7 count up

Here's a possible anti-confusion solution: The HiLetgo 5-volt module features double throw relay contacts. Power the LED6 (Orange wire) thru the relay’s N/C contact. When Nayax activates, the relay switches to the N/O contact and power is removed from the LED6. When credit card is stopped or...

    Nayax to LED7 count up

You can by-pass any coin box timer and just let the Nayax provide the power to run the bay. It will display count-up time and money spent. See my informative post here.

It snowed 10-12” over the weekend with temperatures dropping into the low teens. Monday, the clouds broke, the sun appeared, the streets cleared with sub 30F temp. (We’re closer to the sun here… donchaknow?) The queues were 3-5 cars deep at most of the coin-ops. “You should start taking...
