Recent Renovation of a Self Service Location

I will clarify further, because as car wash guy said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your auto bays are super bright white and well lite. If I used the auto bay, and came later to those s/s bays, I would think it was a different wash altogether. Even with all your s/s bells & whistles...

Recent Renovation of a Self Service Location

Awesome, except for those ugly a$$ s/s bay walls. Why did you not cover the old brick?

    Stringing

Just another great reason to switch to $1 high security tokens!

    Danfoss Drives

I will grab the info next time I am at that wash. It will be mid to end of week. I have to look at wire and try to remember what was different. The programming was fairly easy; I just went through the manual checking each parameter--man there is a mess of them. The only issue I had was...

    Danfoss Drives

Is this the newer model you have: Danfoss 132F0010 ? I replaced all the 176fs with these and have had no issues.

    Automatic Car Wash Refunds

I have that happen occasionally; especially when really busy. I just power cycle the machine, and it batches out. I also changed my batch limit to $100 so batches occur more frequently. This solved a lot of periodic not batching out. Now maybe it happens once per month at one of the machines.

    Automatic Car Wash Refunds

I send tokens in the mail all the time. I just tape them to my standard apology letter and/or explanation letter. I make sure the token(s) fall in the center of the regular #10 envelope. As long as you are not over 1 ounce, 1 stamp will do it. If an issue was definitely my equipment problem...

LW hp hose got caught on 3x foam, & kinked up

Why the heck would you pay that much?? Kleen-Rite does those for about $60 (last time I ordered). Order double wire braid and specify exact end to end length. Been using KR hoses on two lasers for years.

    Littering Signs

We used to be stocked with 55 gallon drums, cause we could not give them away. Now we put a price of $10 on them, and we have a waiting list to sell them. Like Mac said, you put a value on something and the perception changes. What the heck is wrong with people?

Pour new concrete over old ?

Negative; I have not decided what I am going to do yet. I am awaiting the contractor to come back so I can get firm pricing on both avenues. It may be a few months. Whatever I decide, am going to try and complete in September. I will let you know.

How should I respond to this customer?

Now that is just funny, right there !!

Accessing American Paystation without pass code.

They will have to re-download your program. There is a procedure to dump all the memory. I think it is power it down, then insert a business card in the battery terminal. Take a wire and touch the cabinet to one of the bolts securing the circuit board. This will default all prices back to $10...

    Laser 4000 pulsating

Yes--the weep check valve could be letting water blow back through it. I would just change that out first before the valves. Just put a new one on then see what happens. I always try the easy, simple stuff before pulling anything on the pump heads.

    Laser 4000 pulsating

Yes, six valves on each side. Obviously, start with the front to see if you find anything there first.

LW4000 Owners, how often do you...

Yes, that is exactly what they are similar to. I have had them on over three years--no issues.

    Laser 4000 pulsating

Something floating around in a valve body. It is a pain, but pull all the valves out to check for debris.

LW4000 Owners, how often do you...

Daily-- I bought the little stem cap adapters set to 26 psi. Green is correct; red needs air. Got them off ebay for a few bucks. So attendant can quickly and easily check when doing daily visual inspections of units. No gauge needed.
