See, 2Biz!!!!! I told you we'd soon be saying, "Hey Seri, close bays 3 & 4 down until further notice."

replaced infloor heating lines and it doesnt work well!

“The company used 1/2" plastic with 2 feeder lines going into the bay. the bottom line is when the temps go below -8” So, a few questions to help me understand… One loop is 2 to 3” below the finished floor, and the second loop is below the first loop? Are there multiple loops in this bay or...

    Floor heat issue

Hopefully, the system includes shutoff valves for each loop. Try closing every valve on all but the affected loops. This forces the pump’s flow through only the affected loops. If there is an “airlock” this should quickly resolve the problem. Should the issue return after all valves are...

    Need some advice please

Before replacing anything, check for leaks in the bay supply plumbing. Look especially at any swivels which can leak air when not under pressure…and, not leak water when pressure is applied. With the weep system off, does the wand continue to trickle after the pump is cycled off? Is there a...

    Winter foam brush soap questions

2Biz’s system for foam brushes and guns works! It’s default settings have been thoroughly tested and proven in sub-zero country! And, it will work for the wands, too. As long as the only products delivered to the guns is Soap, Rinse and Wax. Low pressure tire/presoak/SFR solenoid manifolds...

    New LED Interactive Lighting

2Biz, Since you’ve added coin pulse inputs to your FL1F control panel you can now remotely check the total values deposited in the coin boxes. With just a few additions to your function blocks, the FL1F math functions can display the individual bay totals and the aggregate value on its screen...

Pumps not coming up to pressure quickly

Look at your boom swivels. They may not leak water under pressure. But, once pressure is relieved, the seal may relax allowing air into the hose-gun-wand assembly...like taking your finger off a straw.

Pump not coming to pressure in cold weather

Check the soap and wax solenoid fittings. I’ve had push-to-connect fittings lose their seal, allowing air to fill the soap/wax supply line to the pump – like taking your finger off the end of the straw. During idle time, the fluid drains from the supply line resulting in a column of air to the...

Weep Mizer out put 2 setting - Heat cable

Earl, After many years, the poly-iso insulation inside my trough began falling apart. The trough’s circulating warm water system failed to protect several areas – especially over bays 1 & 8. It was also not very energy efficient. I added Winterguard Wet heat cables to the trough and wrapped all...

    Weep Water flow amounts

2Biz, mixed emotions regarding “retirement”. On one hand, I’ve played a lot of golf – but, I’ve always played a lot of golf. On the other hand, I have nothing else to do now…one year in and I’m pretty stir crazy. Especially since “The Razz” is in off-season. Copperglobe, It’s an assembly of...

    Weep Water flow amounts

I retired after 25 years in the industry, where I spent hundreds of hours designing, assembling, testing, and operating weep system freeze protection systems. I’ve experienced many “Humm, I never thought of that” moments while thawing out a car wash equipped with one of my designs. Or, realized...

Replacement of Pump to Boom hoses

Back when I was an equipment supplier guy, we always used 3/8” stainless steel tubing for self-serve installations. The installers used simple hand-held tubing benders to custom install each facility. The tubing terminated near the pumping station and above each bay’s roof/ceiling penetration...

    Improving products delivery to bay

From each equipment room solenoid, plumb 1/4" PE tubing to above each bay’s ceiling drop. Add a 3/8” Tee or Cross (Brass or Stainless) to each bay’s high pressure hose…again, above the ceiling drop. Thread your 1/4" x 3/8” fittings to the new “injection fitting”…along with high pressure check...
